The Performing Arts are a dynamic way to grab
attention to an issue of great importance. Whether it's a performance
for conferences, theaters, or the middle of a public street, Jodi's
work typically addressed enviro-socio-political issues, personal
/ local / global responsibility, interconnectivity, health, and the
overall holistic well-being of the Earth and its inhabitants.
This form of creative expression and education comes
in many forms (dance, theatre, puppetry, masks, stilt-dancing, installation
performance) and is often combined with other media (video, sound
collage, poetry, and visual art). Sometimes Jodi produces the entire
venue or event that is built around the performance, such as, a circus
or a Summit.
Besides doing solo works, Jodi facilitates groups that
includes participants of mixed performance experience,
formed on a project-to-project basis. All performances features
an interactive audience feedback, dialogue and/or workshop series.
Jodi is available to teach classes in movement theatre and puppet / mask making.
