Creative + Artistic Services

JODI NETZER is a multi-talented creative communicator as a Performing Artist (Dance, Theatre, Stilt-Dancing, Puppetry and Masks, Installation Performance), Graphic Designer (Print, Web, TV), Video and Sound Artist, Visual Artist, Event Organizer, Networker, Arts Advocate & life/business coach.

A graduate of Philadelphia's Drexel University in 1997, Jodi has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Graphic Design with a double concentration in Film/Video and Performing Arts with enough credits of a triple major.

Jodi is CEO of the startup company GoGoKarma LLC, a personal improvement and community engagement brand that creates a happier, healthier and more sustainable world with a social game app, products, and events. Jodi is also the lead coach and facilitator of Tucson Entrepreneurs, a business coaching and networking group that incorporates work/life assesments and teaches a revised version of the Lean Business Model Canvas.

From 2009-2014, Jodi was the Outreach & Marketing Director and the Director / Facilitator of the Dance Theatre Program of the 501c3 organization Tucson Arts Brigade, an arts education organization specializing in community cultural development. Jodi Netzer often collaborates with her life partner and Executive Director of Tucson Arts Brigade Michael B. Schwartz (murals, painting, drawing, arts education, community arts organizing) on local and national projects, workshops and presentations. She taught puppetry and stilt-dancing at Bread & Puppet and Spiral Q Puppettheatre and is currently teaching workshops incorporating all of her extensive, eclectic dance and theatre experiences acquired by workshops with performers from around the world, including physical theatre, Butoh, clown, African and modern dance.

Jodi was also Founder / Director / Producer of THE WATER FESTIVAL: Synergy of Art, Science, and Community (2009-2013), which raised awareness, promotes stewardship and fosters creative expression for the future of our most precious and endangered resource. It featured a diverse program: Enviro-Vendor Fair, Policy Panel, Community Brainstorms, Workshops from personal wellness to sustainable ecosystems, Art Show, Performances, Art Happenings, Film Festival, Cross-Cultural/Inter-Faith Water Ritual, 3-Mile Walk for Water, Design for Water Solutions Contest, and more. Developed through cross-sector collaborations, the Festival combines the many voices of Artists, Water Experts, City/County Agencies, Educators, Businesses, Local Organizations, Youth and other community members proactively engaged in addressing water issues.

As part of Jodi's many endeavors, she was the Founder, Artistic Director, Programmer, and Featured Artist for The Bumpin' Big Top, a circus that ran for 2 years during the Philadelphia Fringe Festival; has performed at several conferences; and has toured the country with puppet shows. Graphic design credits include Art Director of the Philadelphia Fringe Festival, Book Designer for Whirlwind Press, and Graphic Designer for many other artists, non-profits, and businesses. Video credits include projections for Group Motion Dance Company performances; "Table Dance", a dance film presented by Philadelphia Dance Projects in Dance Boom!; and "WATER WARS", a motivational / promotional video series for Jerry Yudelson, a green builder / water expert.

In both solo and group projects, she works with themes relevant to time and place, especially about interconnectivity, holistic health and well-being, environmental issues, socio-political awareness and arts advocacy — utilizing the arts as creative communication and expression for community cultural development and intellectual enhancement.

Jodi was flattered to be asked to audition for "America's Got Talent", which coincided with her directorship at The Water Festival. She was also casted for the DIY Network TV show for "First Time Flippers", though the house fell through. All good, she has confidence that the timing for her to go viral on networks is coming very soon.
